Mom wants to make money at home
1. Freelance writing. We all have at least one ounce of creativity in us, and even if you don’t, there are jobs for freelance writers to write on things you don’t have to be creative about. There are freelance websites that you can sign up on, for free, and you can bid on jobs that you would like. These jobs include, but are not limited to, writing, web page design, graphic art, business card design, and more.
2. Designing webpages. As mentioned above, you can sign up on freelance writing sites to start building websites, or you can start your own online business for it. You can contract anywhere in the world, and start anytime you want to. And if you really want to get into designing webpages, you can get free information online to teach yourself how to write in HTML, HTML, and more.
3. Virtual Assistants. Have you ever been to an office building, and noticed the secretary sitting outside of the big shot’s office? Have you ever thought, “Well, I can do that”? A virtual assistant is just that, but online. You can be a hot shot’s secretary from the comfort of your own home. Most virtual assistants can get paid from $500-$1000 a month! All you have to do is be available to work during your boss’ hours. All of them require you to have a real method of communication with them, although this method could differ from Yahoo! messenger to a real phone or even Skype.
4. Call Center Associates. Have you ever called a 1-800 number and gotten someone you know is in a different country to help you with customer service, even though the phone says they’re in “Bloomington, Ohio”? That can apply to you. You can be a call center associate to help customers. The legit call centers pay $14-$20 an hour, but they’re very picky – they make you do a voice test, fill out an application, training, and you have to complete a training call with a pretend irate customer.
Well, that’s all there is on this list, but if you are smart about how you look around on the internet, there are millions of at-home job opportunities. Best of luck to the stay-at-home moms who are trying this!
